Q: How does Sepialine software integrate with my accounting system? Is there any danger of corrupting or damaging my accounting data?

Your accounting system contains the most sensitive data you own. For most accounting systems, Sepialine software only makes a read-only accounting connection. Special support for some Deltek products allows for "round trip" integration. Either way, Sepialine software never directly touches or modifies your accounting system. Once that read-only accounting connection is made, Sepialine software simply downloads projects and phases, and then disconnects. The whole process usually takes a few seconds.

Q: Does Sepialine send reimbursable data back into my accounting system?

We refer to this as round-trip accounting integration. For Deltek Vision and Advantage products, round trip connector software is available for an additional fee.

Q: What if my accounting software is not on Sepialine's list of supported products?

You have two options: if your accounting software is ODBC compliant, you can use the generic import module supplied with Argos to connect to your accounting system. In this case, you'll need to supply your own table and field mappings. This is generally a simple process that only needs to be performed once.

Alternately, you can work with Sepialine Professional Services to build a new import module on a custom basis.

Q: What if Sepialine supports my accounting software, but I need the project import to behave slightly differently than the "stock" integration?
